Lexus Insurance officially launches Roadside Assistance 24/7 - a groundbreaking effort to provide amazing solutions to Vietnamese clients

Following the success of the LEXUS Safe Drive application—an AI-based loyalty driving behavior analysis system provided through a point-collecting smartphone app—Lexus Insurance is pleased to announce the launch of a new feature — Roadside Assistance, which includes a number of unique features and is the first of its kind in the insurance industry.

5 May 2022, Hanoi Lexus Insurance has started offering Roadside Assistance to its clients. The service will be available to consumers 24/7, anywhere, anytime, and will cover a wide range of issues that may arise during the relocation.

The Roadside Assistance service integrated into the LEXUS Safe Drive application will provide an infinite number of repairs and emergency assistance. Exclusive services with remarkable characteristics and pioneering in the insurance sector have also been expanded recently, including:

  • Assistance with the delivery of 5 liters of fuel (fee charged);
  • Switch the accumulator battery on.
  • Get a spare key
  • Wheel replacement.
  • Free car towing.

For towing service, customers will be completely free of the distance to the repair site and will be supported with hotel reservations and transportation upon request. Another outstanding feature is the "handover to customers" car keys and fuel. After requesting on app, the rescue department will assist in getting a spare key or buying fuel and bringing it to the located location quickly and promptly.

Along with the development of this new feature on LEXUS Safe Drive, the application will measure and evaluate driving behavior throughout the journey. The evaluation is carried out completely automatically and objectively based on the data warehouse accumulated over many years and continuously updated on the cloud platform. Drivers receive information about their driving ability through the simulator, and immediately receive points for safe driving. The higher the accumulated points, the greater the benefits customers receive at the end of the insurance period. For drivers with a high risk score, the app will also encourage drivers to adjust and improve their driving behavior.

With this new feature, Lexus Insurance wants to pioneer in providing a consistent customer experience. This is also a collaborative effort to provide a useful utility to help car owners comfortably explore every journey to the fullest, and at the same time is a new step on the road to building the best experience for Lexus cars’ owners.
